More than 7000sqm, over 90 exhibitors and exclusive pavilions – these are the figures of Asia’s largest cleaning show, Clean India Pulire 2011, to be held at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from November 10 to 12, 2011. CIP, the only international cleaning expo being held in the world’s largest growing economy, has almost doubled with an increase in 75% exhibition area. With more than 82% of the stall area already having sold out, this time the show will mark an increase of more than 55% in the number of exhibitors. This biannual event being organised by Virtual Info Sytems Pvt Ltd along with Afidamp Servizi srl and Clean India Journal, represents the professional cleaning market in this zone.
Besides the growing figures of the exhibition, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in India expanded 7.8% in the first quarter of 2011 over the same period in the previous year, guaranteeing the event’s success. Services are the major source of economic growth, accounting for more than half of India's output. The economy has posted an average growth rate of more than 7% in the decade since 1997.
India’s diverse economy encompassing wide range of industries and multitude of services besides modern agriculture and farming expands need for cleaning in newer sectors. Over the last decade, out of the many service oriented businesses, the Cleaning Industry in India has registered constant growth of 40 to 50% per annum. There is increase in hygiene awareness and enforcement of international standards in many sectors including IT, pharma, food, hospitality, healthcare, retails and others. This growth is continuous and will move much more rapidly in the coming years.
In this growing scenario, CIP provides an exceptional platform for professional cleaning companies represented by cleaning equipment, tools, chemicals, washroom hygiene products, waste management solutions and maintenance service providers. The show also provides the right opportunity for international cleaning companies to find the right partners and distributors.
The show brings together end users from FM companies, civic departments, operation heads from healthcare/hospitality sectors, corporate & industrial houses, building & construction sector and other industries looking for cleaning solutions.
The show leverages the support given by Clean India Journal in creating awareness and increasing reach to the end users. Personalised attention to the visitors and industry specific seminars add value to the event.
